Pitt StudentsThe UPTC is a free walk-in service for students currently enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh. We administer computer-based and paper-based examinations for distance education courses, make-up exams for on-campus courses, testing through the Office of Disability Resources & Services, and can assist with off-campus testing when needed.

- Pitt Faculty
Pitt FacultyOn behalf of Pitt faculty, we administer tests primarily through the CourseWeb/Blackboard Learning Management System, but can deliver exams as written assessments when requested.
Instructors can contact us at any time to discuss proctoring requirements. We also administer make-up exams, as well as classroom exam scanning and scoring services.
- External Testers
External TestersThe UPTC offers a quiet, secure testing facility to non-Pitt students in need of exam supervision, by appointment only. We administer computer- and paper-based tests.
Please note that there is a $25 administration fee per examination for non-Pitt students. We also administer a variety of standardized tests such as CLEP, MAT, SATs, and GREs. Please consult the individual exam's webpage for specific information about each test — requirements, registration procedures and policies vary greatly.
